The evening begins with the Western phase. Queen Contestants deliver a prepared speech while wearing an evening gown. During the Eastern phase, Queen Contestants answer an impromptu question while wearing a traditional furisode silk kimono. The evening ends with the crowning of the 66th Cherry Blossom Festival Queen and Court.

Individual tickets and tables will be available until capacity is reached.

The Queen Contestants' Cherry Blossom Festival experience will reach its pinnacle at the Festival Ball, a formal evening of fanfare and tradition that highlights Japanese culture at its best.

On this exciting evening at Sheraton Waikiki, the Queen Contestants will showcase their dedication, perseverance and hard work from the last six months of learning the delicate, finer aspects of their heritage. Dressed in elegant gowns and authentic silk furisode kimonos, each contestant will demonstrate the poise, self confidence, and stage presence that furtively defines Japanese culture. Moreover, specifically selected to compliment each contestant by Diamond Sponsor Watabe Wedding. Evening gowns are generously sponsored by Dr. Tom Kosasa and Mi Kosasa, 24th CBF Queen.

Before the night is over, a panel of distinguished judges will select the new Cherry Blossom Festival Queen, First Princess, and three Princesses. Miss Popularity and Miss Congeniality will also be announced and join the new Queen, First Princess, and Princesses as the 65th Cherry Blossom Festival Court.

The Festival Ball will also be the last official appearance of the 64th Cherry Blossom Festival Queen and Court. The event will have a silent auction with proceeds benefiting the Cherry Blossom Festival. We invite everyone to join us for this very special evening.

Dinner is included. To be seated together, individual tickets must be purchased together. General table placement in the ballroom is determine by the time stamp in which the order is received.

Golfers enjoy a fun-filled tournament with food and snacks along the course. The event concludes with a dinner and awarding of prizes. Deadline to purchase teams is Feb. 10, 2017.

$750 Queen Package: Includes one 3‐man team, on/off par-3 tickets for team, three mulligans per team, five lucky draw tickets per player, team gift bag, sponsor names on website, tee signage, bento lunch and banquet dinner.

Emcee will ask each of the contestants to answer a question on a variety of subjects. Through this question and answer experience, each contestant will gain valuable practice in sharpening her public speaking skills, developing her poise and increasing her self-confidence.

Kahala Mall Public Appearance

In the weeks leading up to Festival Ball, public appearances by the 15 Queen Contestants will be held at several of Oahu's major shopping centers. The purpose of these appearances is not only to introduce this year's contestants and promote the Festival, but also to showcase aspects of Japanese culture to the community.

The first public appearance will be held at Kahala Mall. Cultural entertainment will be provided by Ryukyu Koten Afuso-ryu Ongaku Kenkyuu Choichi Kai. Emcees will then ask each of the contestants to answer a question on a variety of subjects. Through this question and answer experience, each contestant will gain valuable practice in sharpening her public speaking skills, developing her poise and increasing her self-confidence.

The haiku & art contest winners will also be presented their awards at the Kahala Mall appearance.

Contestant Reception is a fun and entertaining, 21 and over only event. Queen Contestants chance to mingle and interact with family and friends in a casual environment and will model fashions from local boutiques in a mini-fashion show. Guests will enjoy heavy pupu, a short program and lucky draw contests.

Golf Tournament at Hawaii Prince Golf Course

Get into the golfing craze and join us for a round! Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. The tournament will feature a 3-man scramble format with the shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. Following your day on the links, join your fellow golfers for the "19th Hole" and an awards banquet in the clubhouse.

Shine up your clubs, hit the driving range, dust off your greatest golf stories and join in the fun at the Cherry Blossom Festival Golf Tournament. Every participant is eligible to participate in various on course contests.

Bento lunch provided for every golfer by diamond sponsor Gyotaku Restaurants and drinks provided by gold sponsor Kirin Brewery. Buffet dinner is included. Team, individual and raffle prizes to be awarded at the banquet.

Queen Package $750
