The first public appearance by the Contestants and the Queen and Court will be held at the Royal Hawaiian Center. The 69th Cherry Blossom Festival Queen and Court will share their festival experiences.

The highlight of each public appearance is the introduction of the 70th Cherry Blossom Festival Queen Contestants participating in that year's festival. Emcee will ask each of the contestants to answer a question on a variety of subjects. Through this question and answer experience, each contestant will gain valuable practice in sharpening her public speaking skills, developing her poise and increasing her self-confidence.
