The Heritage Fair is a wonderful, family event that celebrates Japanese culture. Join us for a program of cultural entertainment which will include odori and taiko performances, appearances by the Queen Contestants and the 55th Queen and Court, and martial arts demonstrations. Also planned are mochi pounding and bon dance demonstrations. For you shoppers, the fair will feature the wares of talented local artisans and entrepreneurs, which includes clothing, accessories and collectibles. Educational exhibits for calligraphy, sword making, ikebana (flower arrangement) and origami (paper folding) are planned.

This year, the Heritage Fair will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Ward Warehouse. Admission to the fair is free to the public. Bring the whole family and enjoy the sights and sounds of our Japanese culture.
